Abstract

PURPOSE:To make characters easy to read visually and to facilitate printing by predetermining the magnetic pattern that corresponds to a character or pattern and by incorporating it partially in the character or pattern by superposing it. CONSTITUTION:Character data written from outside 1 into line buffer memory 2 are read by one character at every time; one is inputted to character font ROM3, and the other to magnetic pattern ROM4. The font data that corresponds to one- character data inputted to ROM3 is read and printed, character by character, by ink jet nozzle 9 via driver 6. The magnetic pattern that corresponds to the character inputted to ROM4, on the other hand, is read out to print the magnetic pattern that corresponds to the character by ink jet nozzle 10 via driver 7. As a result, characters or patterns can be read as well as normal printed matter and the printing is facilitated.
