Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable to remove adhered dust well by tilting a gas passing wall of the moving layer type reaction apparatus at a constant angle against a gas stream to uniformly descend a catalyst downwardly. CONSTITUTION:Two gas passing walls 5a, 5b of a catalyst container 5 are arranged obliquely at a constant angle alpha against dust 2a. Thereby, the catalyst from a throw- in port 10 forms the moving layer in the container 5 and gradually descends but, because the gas passing walls 5a, 5b are provided obliquely, the dust adhered to the catalyst is dropped to the outside from the waste gas passing wall 5a and the catalyst is descended uniformly. If a gas to be treated such as a waste gas or the like is treated as described above, efficient reaction is carried out by an inexpensive installation.
