Abstract

PURPOSE: To facilitate adjustment of the natural frequency of a set of turbine blades by joining adjacent ones of lugs provided on opposite faces of the blades together by means of cross formed connecting elements in order to interconnect the blades.
CONSTITUTION: For the object of interconnecting turbine blades 1, each blade 1 has lugs 2 integrally provided on the front and rear sides thereof. Each lug 2 is formed to have therein a cross slot 4 of a width (a) which extends inwardly from an end face thereof. A connecting element 6 which has cross ledges 5 of the same width (a) at opposite ends thereof is interposed and mounted between adjacent lugs 2 of adjacent blades 1 with its ledges 5 fitted in the cross slots 4 of the lugs 2 to interconnect the adjacent blades so as to constitute a blades set. According to the invention, all the blades in the set can be designed to have a same natural frequency by selectivey applying various connecting elements which are different in their rigidity to individual blades which have different frequencies resulting from different conditions of production thereof.
