Abstract

PURPOSE:To effectively utilize incident light in a photoelectric converter by forming a random reflecting surface on the inner surface of the bottom plate of a case and using a photoelectric converting element having an active region on the back surface side. CONSTITUTION:Solar battery cells 1a are arranged, for example, one row with five pieces in a body case 3. The bottom plate 31 of the case 3 is formed that the inner surfaces are random reflecting surfaces. The cells 1a have active regions on the back surface side. The light which does not project incident to the surface of the cell 1a but project incident to the bottom surface 31 is also reflected by the random reflecting surface 31, partly incident to the back surface of the cell 1a and contributes to the photovoltaic current.
