CONSTITUTION:An adequate amount of CMC or the like is added to a thick aqueous soln. of a water soluble dye to obrain viscous semiliq. dye A. On the other hand, soln. B of a pressure fixing hydrophobic resin such as a styrene-butadiene copolymer and aqueous protective colloidal soln. C such as polyvinyl alcohol soln. are prepared separately. Dye A is added to soln. B and agitated to form a W/O type emulsion. This emulsion is then added to soln. C while vigorously agitating soln.
