Abstract

PURPOSE: To evade the eccentric rotation of gear train and reduce the unbalance due to centrifugal force by a method wherein planetary gears with specified dimensional ratio are employed in the piston machinery with an eccentric shaft such as a compressor or the like.
CONSTITUTION: There is provided a drive shaft 1 having in its part an eccentric shaft 2 with eccentricity E and, about the center 2' of the shaft 2, a piston 4 is rotatably arranged within a casing 8. The space between the casing 8 and the piston 4 is divided in two working chambers 20 and 20' by seal pieces 16 and 16'. A gear 212, having a pitch redius (a), secured on the shaft 1 is provided being circumscribed with intermediate gears 215 and 216. The first internal gear 217, having a pitch radius (b), rotatably supported on the shaft 1 is also provided being inscribed with the gears 215 and 216. Further, the gear 217, which is relatively secured to the second internal gear 218, is relatively fixed to the piston 4 and inscribed with an eccentric shaft gear 220, having a pitch radius (f), rotatably supported on the shaft 2. In these gear arrangements, when the dimensions of gears are determined due to the relation f=E.(b+a)/(b-a), the massive parts such as internal gears and the like are not in eccentric to the shaft 1, meeting the expected object.
