Abstract

PURPOSE:To select and enjoy as much number of programs as possible at a specified station, by transmitting both the synthetic aural signal and the video signal produced through inserting two video signals alternately with every line or field. CONSTITUTION:The 1st and 2nd video signals are applied to the 1st and 2nd NAND gates 1 and 2, respectively. The output of the adder 5 is turned into the video signal in which the 1st and 2nd video signals are replaced alternately with every line or field. On the other hand, the 2nd aural signal that received a modulation by the FM modulator 6 is added with the 1st aural signal through an adder 7, and then an FM modulation is carried out by the modulator 8. The output of FM modulation is added with the synthetic video signal supplied from the adder 5 through the adder 9. The output of the adder 9 is modulated by the RF modulator 10 and then radiated through the transmission antenna 11. The transmitted signal is received at the reception side, and either one of the signals is selected for looking and listening.
