PURPOSE:To make switching of a plurality of video signals by using a single frame memory, by attaching the video element number sequentially to a video element signal of each corresponding frame and writing in the frame memory to a corresponding memory address repetitively. CONSTITUTION:The A/D converter 6 and the clock generating circuit 7 are respectively provided to n-input video signals A,B,C...N, to produce the clock pulse corresponding to the synchronizing signal system every input video signal, and each input analog video signal is converted into a digital video signal. The signals are fed to the shrinking circuit 8 via n-lines of signal lines, and the operation processing with the video element signal written in the frame memory 2 in advance is made at the signal processing circuit 5. After the operation, the video element signal is again written in the corresponding address of the frame memory 2. This operation is made as to each video element number every frame of n-input signal and when this is finished, the video element signal is read out from the memory 2 every frame and output via the D/A converter 10.
