Abstract
PURPOSE:To form the battery power supply type superregenerative receiver which can avoid the malfunction of the receiver main body, by detecting the presence of the quenching oscillation of superregenerative system front end due to the voltage drop of the battery power supply. CONSTITUTION:When the voltage of the battery power supply 10 is normal and the quenching oscillation circuit 8 of the superregenerative system front end 2, analog signal processing section 11, and digital signal processing section 13 are normally operated, the input signal from the antenna 1 passes through the front end 2 and signal processing sections 11, 13 and outputs normally. If the quenching oscillation circuit 8 of the front end 2 is not oscillated due to the voltage drop of the battery power supply 10, the transistor T3 of the detection section 17 turns off, and the section 13 stops the function of the receiver main body 12. If the analog-to-digital signal processing sections 11, 13 are inoperative due to the voltage drop of the power supply 10, no output is produced from the digital signal processing section 11, allowing to stop the function of the receiver itself 12.
