Abstract
PURPOSE:To easily derive a centroidal position without lifting a large-sized structure, by loading the large-sized structure on a nearly horizontal rack, and placing a jack equipped with a load meter in three places at least under the lower part of the outside circumference of the structure. CONSTITUTION:The block 20 for constituting a plant is a very heavy structure consisting of a lot of steel pipes 21 and apparatuses provided on the base 22. The block 20 is loaded on the nearly horizontal rack 23, and oil pressure jacks 26 equipped with a pressure gauge 25 are placed under the supporting parts which have been provided on both the sides of the base 22 by 2 pieces each, namely, four places in all. The jacks 26 are lifted, the load which is put on each jack 26 is measured, a centroidal position on the plane is derived, subsequently, the jacks 26 are further raised, the block 20 is inclined, the tilt angle and the load to be put on each jack 26 are measured, and height of the centroidal position is derived. In this way, a centroidal position can be derived easily without lifting the block 20.
