Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable to transport mechanical presses without being contrary to the traffic regulation, by reducing the weight and volume of crown and bed by constituting the crown to have a bar type shape and by dividing the conventional bed into a bed and a lower beam, and by constituting required constructions so that they may be fitted and removed.
CONSTITUTION: Lower beams 1 are put in parallel to each other at an adequate interval, and uprights 2 are erected at both ends of lower beams 1, and then, upper beam 4 is put between the uprights and fixed with tie rod 5 so that it may be fitted and removed. Between the lower surface of opposing upper beams 4, crown 6 having built-in drive mechanism 11 and which is splitted into two and constituted to have a bar type shape, is installed, and the crown is fixed with tie rod 7 so that it may be fitted and removed. Then, bed 8 whose width is narrower than the interval between uprights 2, is put between the upper surface of central part of lower beams 1, and fixed with tie rod 9 so that it may be fitted and removed. Moreover, slide part 10 is installed above bed 8 and connected to drive mechanism 11 of each crown 6. When this mechanical press is transported, the press is dismantled into each construction by removing each tie rod 5, 7 and 9.
