Abstract
PURPOSE: To shorten the required time of electric charge and discharge with simple circuit constitution by providing an off period in the on period of a switch circuit in case that when the level of a capacity element is set, its electric charge varies much.
CONSTITUTION: When switch circuit 81 is turned on, a terminal voltage across capacitor 82 is equalized to the output voltage of D/A converting circuit 17 and even after circuit 81 is turned off, this voltage is held to output the held voltage from operational amplifier 83. Since a C-MOS analog switch is used as circuit 81 in this circuit, the circuit constitution is simplified, but when the CMOS element is being turned on, the resistance varies in proportion to a flowing current. Consequently, as the charging and discharging currents of capacitor 82 increase, the resistance value of the CMOS element increases and the time constant of discharging increases. On the other hand, turning it off temporarily by interrupting a sampling pulse decreases the resistance value of the C-MOS element, and the set time can be shortened.
