Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce power consumption, eliminate scorching and improve fixability by disposing thin foil heating resistors which are inclined and paralleled like Persian blinds, to two upper and lower layers, and blowing hot wind from the resistors at the time of feeding copying paper into the lower resistors. CONSTITUTION:The copying paper 1 having undergone transfer is attracted by an air suction roller 2, and as it revolves, the paper travels left and reaches heating resistors 5. The copying paper 1 contacting the resistors 5 are heated, and is further heated by the radiation heat of heating resistors 4 from above. When the copying paper advances further, the hot wind blown from a blower 9 is blown from the resistors 5 into the feed direction of the copying paper 1, whereby the copying paper 1 is heated; at the same time, the copying paper 1 is held slightly afloat, whereby the friction with the resistors 5 is decreased. When the copying paper 1 reaches an air attraction roller 6, it is attracted to the roller into which hot air is blown from the blower 9 on the top surface where the holes on the outside circumference of said roller and the openings of a suction pipe 8 align. As the roller revolves, the paper is sent out. It is then delivered to the outside of the copying machine by delivery rollers 13, 14.
