Abstract
PURPOSE: Titled composition which is excellent in curability, provides products excellent in flexibility, electrical properties, chemical resistance, etc., and is suitable for use in insulating paints, prepared by adding a polythiol compound to a specific oligoester compound.
CONSTITUTION: The composition of the purpose is prepared by mixing (A) an oligoester-imide compound represented by formula I, wherein X is an m-valent residue derived from an ester oligomer prepared from an aromatic dicarboxylic acid component and an aliphatic polyol component, wherein the polyol component is up to 35mol% excess over the dicarboxylic acid component, m≥2, m is half as many as or equal to the number of the terminal hydroxyl groups of the ester oligomer and n is 1W2 (said component A being used in an amount corresponding to 1 amido eq.) with (B) a polythiol compound represented by formula II, wherein R is an 1- valent organic group free of a reactive C-C unsaturated bond and 1 is 2W4, such as trimethylolpropane tris (thioglycolate) (said component B being used in an amount corresponding to 0.2W1eq.).
