Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain an anticorrosion pipe having a high bonding strength, by inserting a long head of an extruder into a metallic pipe, and extruding a tube of uncross-linked silyl-modified polymer from a die provided at a front end portion of the long head, while said tube is then fused to an inner surface of the metallic pipe. CONSTITUTION:A tube extruding nipple die is set on a long head 2 of an extruder 1. Rails 3 are laid in a direction in which the long head 2 is extended, and a carriage 4 is placed on the rails 3. A steel pipe 6 is heated by a heating means and mounted on drive rolls 5a, 5b. The carriage 4 is moved toward the extruder 1, so that the long head 2 of the extruder 1 is inserted into the steel pipe 6. A tube 11 of silyl-modified polymer is then extruded, and the pipe 6 is closed with a cover 12. The carriage 4 is then moved slowly away from the extruder 1 while extruding the tube 11, to withdraw the pipe 6 from the long head 2.
