Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain a lining form without any wrinkle by a method wherein a flexible layer such as soft urethane resin is put on the mold surace of a bottom tool (male) to effect the forming in the forming by the contact bonding of a base and a skin material for lining of a ceilling, a door or the like for a motorcar.
CONSTITUTION: The mold surface 1a of a top force (female) is arranged on the front face of the form while the mold surface 3a of the bottom tool (male) 2 is arranged against the rear side of the form respectively. The flexible surface 4a of the layer 4 such as the soft urethane resin is put on the mold surface 3a in the form of a plane and the skin material 5 is put thereon. The skin material 5 is vinyl chloride 6 lined with urethane foam 7 and coated with an adhesive coated thereon which are heated to a predetermined temperature beforehand. Next, the base 8 formed into a predetermined configuration beforehand is put opposingly onto the surface of the skin material 5 or within the top force 1. When the top force 1 is operated to press the skin material 5 against the bottom force 2 under a predetermined pressure, the flexible material layer 4 is contracted to copy the configuration of the mold surface 3a of the bottom force main body 3 and the uniform form without any winkle may be obtained by pressing it for a predetermined period of time.
