Abstract
PURPOSE:To measure continuously distributions of the thickness of the body part in the circumferential direction and the vertical direction, by rotating the hollow material or moving it in the axial line direction by the driving shaft. CONSTITUTION:For measurement of the thickness distribution in the circumferential direction of body part 3a, hollow material 3 is rotated with the axial line of driving shaft 4 as the center when driving shaft 4 is rotated. The thicknesss corresponds to the distance between top part 2a of spherical material 2 and top part 12a of measurer 12, nemely, the extent of the displacement of movable shaft 11, and this extent of the displacement is converted to an electric quantity by the sensor mechanism is sensor head 14. The converted electric quantity is amplified and is displayed on the recorder. After moving driving shaft 4 in the axial direction, the similar measurement is performed to measure the thickness distribution in the circumferential direction in different vertical positions of the body part.
