Abstract
PURPOSE:To illuminate in a nonparallel state of a light source and a part to be illuminated, by using, as a reflector, that which has combined plural reflectors which have a head-cut oval conical surface of reflection, or have curved a slit type mirror surface part to an oval arc shape and are different in a distance between the focuses. CONSTITUTION:An original O is illuminated by placing a linear light source 2 on one facal line L1 of the reflector 1 forming a part of the circumferential surface of a head-cut oval cone 10, and placing light source equipments 3, 3' so that a slit type part to be illuminated is adjacent to the other focal line L2 of the reflector 1. Distribution of intensity of an illumination light beam in the part to be illuminated is large at the side being near the light source equipment, and it becomes small as it goes away from the light source equipment, but according to said constitution, since the slit illumination can be made from the diagonal lower part of an original, a moving area of the light source equipment can be set out of a moving area of the exposure luminous flux, and the exposure can be made continuously by use of two groups of exposure equipments.
