Abstract

CONSTITUTION: A piston in the master cylinder of an automobile braking device is taken here as an example. A round bar 11 is preformed through cold forging to a primary product 12 having a large calibered portion 1 and a small calibered portion 7. A secondary product 13, having a flange 5, concave 4 and hole 6, is then produced through cold forging. Finally a finished piston A is manufactured through cutting and drilling as shown chain lines in the figure.
