Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a fixing type heat-sensitive recording paper which has a long- term storage stability and is capable of giving a printed image having a high definition by providing the paint film of a thermosoftening ink on the surface of a base material and also an intermediate layer and a recorder on the thermosoftening ink film. CONSTITUTION:A thermosoftening ink layer of a thickness of preferably 15mu or less, composed primarily of a desired color of pigment and dye and a binder, is provided on the surface of a base material 1 of a thickness of preferably 20mu or less, composed of glassine paper, etc. Then, an intermediate layer 3 of a melting point 50-70 deg.C and also a thickness of 5-10mu preferably, composed of paraffin wax, micro-crystalline wax, etc., is provided on the thermosoftening ink layer and a recorder is further provided on the intermediate layer 3 to obtain an objective recording paper. The melting point of the said thermosoftening ink layer is preferably made 5-10 deg.C higher than that of the intermediate layer 3.
