Abstract

By adjusting the output of the bending cylinder 12 held in the roll chock 15 depending on the observation about the rolled sheet shape on the run-out side of the mill, the shape of the rolled sheet is controlled to a desired shape. According to the present method, the rearranging work for the work rolls does not take so much working hours as in the case of the conventional method for detaching and attaching the piping and hoses of the pressure oil; as a result, the working hours for the roll rearrangement are greatly shortened and the production efficiency is improved.
