Abstract

PURPOSE:To get rid of a printing error caused by service interruption and raise the relability, by inhibiting the input/output operation of the control circuit and the memory which are always in an active state, at the time of service interruption in the course of printing, storing a data, and restarting the operation of the control circuit at the time of release. CONSTITUTION:The control circuit 6 incorporates program, and is in an active state by the secondary battery BA together with the data memory circuit 7, the temporary memory circuit 5, the delay circuit, and the service interruption detector 8. In this case, when a service interruption signal is provided from the detector 8 through the line l2, in case when it is provided in the course of printing, the input/output operation is inhibited, at the same time the memory contents are protected, and after that, when an inhibit signal is provided from the circuit 9 through the line l3, the operation of the circuit 6 is inhibited. Therefore, an input from the input circuit 6 becomes ineffective, and also display of the display circuit 2 is not executed. In case the service interruption is released, a signal from the detector 8 annihilates, an inhibit signal from the circuit 9 annihilates, as well, the circuit is operated once again, and the input of the circuit 10 and the display of the circuit 2 are executed. Also, a printing data which has been protected is returned, and printing is executed over again.
