Abstract
PURPOSE:To maintain reliability of contacts, to prevent occurrences of shock noises, and to improve stability of contacts by arranging contact springs of which shape and material are different at least in one type. CONSTITUTION:A color selective electrode frame is equipped with contact springs 8 respectively different in length and weight which are juxtaposed one by one, welded and fixed. Thus, fixing plural pieces of contact springs different in the number of natural oscillation inside the same cathode-ray tube makes the springs at the time of shock occurrence different in the number of oscillation, and minimizes the probability that all the contact pieces may clear the inner graphite film at the same time. This facilitates to absolutely provent occurrences of shock noises by reliably absorbing outer vibrations and shocks without impairing reliablity of contacts, and to widely improve the stability of contacts.
