Abstract
PURPOSE: To eliminate possibility of any mis-operation by allowing a lock member for fixation of a paper feeder table to make displacement to disengage from the fixing member only when the sheets placing member is in lower position.
CONSTITUTION: In a paper feeder device in which a paper feeder table having a sheets placing member 13 capable of free vertical movement is mounted on the body in such a way that the table can be drawn out of the body, a lock lever 24 to fix the paper feeder table, (not illustrated) shall be displaceable only when the member 13 is in lower position to disengage from a fixation member 26. When supply of sheets is required, the operating button, (not illustrated,) is pushed and the main switch is turned to the reverse direction the member 13 will sink to the undermost position to turn a restriction lever 27 counterclockwise. Accordingly, the lever 27 takes level position to release the lock lever 24 to free rotation, so that now turning the unlocking lever 22 counterclockwise will drive the lever 24 into clockwise rotation and a engaging part 24c will come off from the edge of window opening 26a. Thus, drawout of the paper feeder table is rendered possible.
