Abstract
PURPOSE: To smoothly manufacture a cold rolled sheet product, by consistently finishing a hot rolled strip into various kinds of cold rolled sheet product corresponding to its use, and by employing a process computer for controlling the mutual matching between the related process lines.
CONSTITUTION: The strip running out of the hot rolling pass 11 is coiled by the coiler 12, and is sent into the slow cooling storage pit 14 through the scale formation controller 13 which applies the controlled slow cooling to the strip. Next, the strip is descaled by the descaling line 21W29; thereafter, the strip coil is temporarily stored in the warming storage pit 15 in accordance with the necessity. Then, the strip is introduced into the cold rolling line B in which the tandem mill 35, capable of effecting a high draft percentage for the optimum shape formation, applies the specified rolling work to the strip. The cold rolled strip is heat treated by the continuous heat treating line 41, and its shape is regulated by the temper rolling mill 43. Thus prepared strip is plated by the electric tinning line D, the electric zinc plating line E, or the continuous hot dipping line C. The process computer 90 controls the mutual matching between above- mentioned process lines, and regulates the overall flow of the strip.
