Abstract
PURPOSE:To provide an economic recovery of cold heat and regasify a liquefied gas by a method wherein a mixture having a specific composition of carbon chloride or carbonic chloride hidelite with a specific number of carbon atoms is used as a thermo catalyst when a liquefied natural gas is regasified under a Rankine cycle. CONSTITUTION:In a multifluid type heat exchanger A, either a mixed carbonic chloride including 40-50mol% of carbonic chloride with the number of carbon 1, 20-30mol% of carbonic chloride with the number of carbon 2, and 20-40mol% of carbonic chloride with the number of carbon 3, or a mixture of hidelite carbonic chloride with its boiling point being approximate to that of the carbonic chloride and having the same composition ratio as that of the carbonic chloride is used. High pressure saturated vapour of thermomedia in the line 7 is expanded by turbine D fed into the heat exchanger A, heat exchanged with liquified natural gas 1-2, high pressure thermomedia 5-6, cooled thereby to form a liquified condition and finally flowed into the pump B. With this circulation system, a liquified natural gas may be regasified economically with a simple facility while its cold heat is recovered.
