Abstract

PURPOSE:To give the resistance to noise at low band and window noise, while remaining the secondary sound pressure gradient unidirectivity, by providing HPFs having the same cut-off frequency and characteristics to the output circuit of two unidirectional microphone units. CONSTITUTION:Unidirectional microphone units 1, 2 are located with a given interval D toward the microphone main axis X to the sound source S. Further, HPFs 5,5' having the same cut-off frequency and characteristics are inserted to the output circuit of the microphone units 1,2, and the output through HPFs 5,5' is processed for subtraction at the subtraction circuit 3. Further, this secondary sound pressure gradient unidirectional microphone system reduces the correction of equalizer 4 by limiting the playback zone of low band by itself. Thus, the deterioration of S/N can be prevented and the system can withstand wind noise.
