The inside of cylindrical body 1 is filled with particles 5 of lead or cadmium constituting an anode while being filled with the electrolyte 6 such as the solution of potassium carbonate. Further the external side of the cylindrical body 1 is covered with the partition film 13 for transmitting gas such as silicon rubber. Said cathode is connected with the lead wire 12 and the anode is connected with the lead wire 11 through a lead rod 10. Thereby the electrode with little change on standing and a long life can be simple manufactured.
