Abstract

PURPOSE:To measure the fluidity characteristic of a sample in the wide range of temperature in a short time by setting the thermal capacity of a flat plate for mounting the sample to be 1/20 or less of that of a flat-plate retaining part and the velocity of thermal transmission of the flat plate to be 2cal/cm<2>.sec. deg.C or less. CONSTITUTION:The flat-plate retaining part 3 is heated to the constant temperature by a heating part 4 and thereafter it is lowered, while the flat plate 2 coated with the sample such as thermosetting resin at a room temperature separately is placed on the flat-plate retaining part 3. Then, the flat plate 2 and a measure 1 is closely fitted to each other so as for the sample to be expanded in a flowing manner between them by a terminal 8 for elevating the flat-plate retaining part and the measure 1 is rotated by a motor 5, whereby the torque thereof is measured by a torque detecting part 6. The temperature of the measure 1 or the flat-plate retaining part 2 is detected and thereby the fluidity in the rising process of the temperature is measured. Since the thermal capacity of the flat plate 2 is set to be 1/20 or less of that of the flat-plate retaining part 3, a heat quantity brough out by the flat plate 2 when it transfers from the room temperature system to the heating system can be made small. In addition, the velocity of thermal transmission (thermal transmission ratio/average thickness of flat plate) of the flat plate 2 is set to be 2cal/cm<2>.sec. deg.C or below, the sample can flow throughout the whole surface to be measured before its setting.
