Abstract

PURPOSE: To deliver the maximum working capacity of a bulldozer to cope with any changes in soil feature by controlling a blade load of a bulldozer detecting it from a strain of a shaft connecting a torque converter and a mission.
CONSTITUTION: A strain gauge 23 is provided on a shaft connecting a torque converter and a mission and a strain of the shaft is checked for to detect a traction force. In other words, the strain level detected with the strain gauge 23 is added to an FM modulator 33 through a bridge amplifier. The modulator 33 modulates a signal corresponding to the strain on the same frequency basis and transmits it with an FM transmitter 34. An FM receiver 37 demodulates the signal received with an FM demodulator 38 to obtain a signal ec. A wheel speed detector 4 outputs an actual wheel speed signal eB from which an arithmetic indicator 5 computes an effective traction output P. A control operation unit 10 adds a voltage corresponding to a deviation obtained at adding points AP to a solenoid valve 12 through a driving section 11 to control it by switching thereby controlling the load of a blade 14.
