Abstract
PURPOSE:To compensate through motions of a piston any poor surface alignment of a pressure receiving area if any, in order to receive pressure accurately, by means of a static pressure pocket provided between the pressure receiving surface and a top face of a piston and pressing the piston against the pressure receiving surface. CONSTITUTION:Hydraulic pressure from an hydraulic pressure pump 15 presses piston 11 toward a sliding surface 12 by a force Fs through a presure reducing valve 16 and a cylinder chamber 10a. Also, hydraulic pressure from the chamber 10a flows into a static pressure pocket 13 through a throttle 20 and pushes the piston 11 upward by a force Fp. Where Fs>Fp is applicable, the piston 11 goes down to reduce a space tp of a sliding surface gap 23 to contract with the pressurized oil flow passing through the gap 23, so that pressure in the static pressure pocket 13 rises to stabilize the piston 11 at Fp=Fs. Such motions of the piston 11 follows up a change of a gap 23 caused by inaccurate alignment of a sliding surface 12 when a saddle 2 moves on a bed 1 and acts as pushing the saddle 2 upward, while constantly maintaining the condition Fs=Fp.
