Abstract
PURPOSE: To facilitate replacement and regeneration of a catalytic body for higher catalytic effect by closely multiplying porous material or net bodies made of a heat proofing material to which a catalytic body is attached to form a sheated heater with a catalytic body.
CONSTITUTION: On the circumference of a sheathed heater 1a, a catalytic body is attached to a porous plate or a net made of, a heat proofing material to form a catalytic assembly 2a. The catalytic assemblies thus formed are closely put together in a multiple manner with a desired area given to make a sheathed heater 2a. The heat of the sheathed heater 1a emits so radially as to heat the closely multiplied catalytic assemblies evenly. A catalyst 2c adheres to the entire surface of the net made of the heat proofing material 2b. The numeral 2b indicates a clearance between meshes. This provides a free choice of the thickness of the closely multiplied arrangement of the catalytic assemblies 2a, the mesh clearance 2d, a hole 2f and the like to enhance the catalytic effect.
