Abstract
PURPOSE:To avoid the collision of data by performing a communication by the use of a light wave having the same center wave length as the receiving wave length of the other station, when transmission is executed. CONSTITUTION:A light receiver 43 having no wave length selectivity, and a light transmitter 44 having 1 or plural light emitting elements for generating a light beam mutually different center wave length are provided on plural stations 41a-41f. These stations are coupled with the light transmission line 45 through the star coupler 42. In case the station 41a communicate with the station 41c, the transmission wave length from he transmitter 44 of the station 41a is made lambdac so that a signal of the station 41a is selectively transmitted to only the station 41c. Therefore, there is no limit of the number of stations, which is accompanied by attenuation of light due to the distribution, it becomes easy to change to plural stations, and the collision of data is not caused.
