Abstract

PURPOSE:A cosmetic for a scalp, capable of imparting the moisture and refreshing feeling to the scalp, preventing the itch without stickiness, and containing chlorohexidine gluconate, silicone oil and ethanol. CONSTITUTION:A cosmetic for a scalp containing 0.01-1wt% compound of formula I, 0.1-10wt% silicone oil and 10-80wt% eathnol. The silicone oil consists of units A, B and C. The unit A is R3SiO-, and the unit B is at least one selected from formulas II, III, and IV. The unit C is R3Si-[R is CH3, C6H5, (CH2)pO (CqT2qO)xR' (R' is H or 1-5C alkyl; p is 0-5; q is 2 or 3; x is 1-50); n is 4-50; m is 1-50; however, R is not CH3 in formula II]. The content of the chlorohexidine gluconate is most preferably 0.02-0.5wt%.
