Abstract

PURPOSE: To take out a wind power energy in the maximum by a method wherein air-speed sensors are provided forward and rearward the wind mill and a variable pitch mechanism of the wind mill is controlled in order to maintain the air-speed ratio at an approximately constant value.
CONSTITUTION: The air-speed sensors 2, 3 are provided forward and rearward the wind mill 1 to detect the air-speed and the air-speed is fed as an input to a comparator 5 to control the variable pitch mechanism 6 of the wind mill so as to maintain the air-speed ratio at the approximately constant value. Whereby since the output of the wind mill is made always largest, the maximum wind power energy can be taken out.
