The reaction temperature is 60W230°C, preferably 110W190°C. Water formed as a by-product is preferably removed by the azeotropy, etc. positively. The resultant compound is useful as a synthetic intermediate of 2,2'-Δ2-dioxazoline which is useful as a curing agent for a powder coating material, a crosslinking agent of an epoxy resin, etc.
