Abstract
PURPOSE:To make suitable the head for high density recording, by forming the magnetic circuit constituting the operating gap to the magnetic floating body of flying magnetic head by means of vacuum deposition. CONSTITUTION:In providing the operating gap G at the rear end lower side of the center rail 2B among the rails 2A, 2B, 2C of the mangetic floating body 1, high permeability magnetic substances 20, 22 are formed with vacuum deposition, and the winding 21 is formed with vacuum deposition of Cu to form incorporatedly the magnetic circuit having the gap G. Thus, the floating body 1 is made small in size, allowing to make high density recording.
