PURPOSE:To improve the resistance to light of a metallic cap itself and its flexibility and reduce the required quantity of material by using thermoplastic resin consisting of polybutylene phthalate resin mixed with a specific amount of white pigment, such as TiO2, etc. which can improve the resistance to light, preset amount. CONSTITUTION:The main unit 3 of a metallic piece includes a thick area 6 at its center, where four metallic cap pins 7 are inserted and secured and a lead wire 8 is connected to the pins 7 from a lamp 1. The main unit 3 of this metallic piece 2 and its cover 4 consist of thermoplastic resin in which white pigment, such as TiO2, etc. is mixed in polybutylene phthalate PBT resin by 0.1-1.0wt%. This can improve the resistance to light of a metallic piece and reduce its quantity and cost, without being damaged when it is tightened by a screw 5 even if the thickness in the outer parts 3' and 4' of the main unit 3 and the cover body 4 are decreased, due to flexibility of the thermoplastic resin.
