Abstract

PURPOSE:To correct distortions over the entire part of swaths by inserting a lens which corrects the inclination of a reconstructed image in its range direction and a lens which parallel moves the reconstructed image to the front face of a data film recorded with holograms. CONSTITUTION:A lens 31 which changes the advance direction of light by range lengths is inserted to the front face of a data film in which holograms are stored. The lens 31 allows the light incident to the shortest range of swath width to advance straightforward like the solid line (i) and with an increase in the range length, it changes the advance direction of the light like the dotted line (j) and changes the light incident to the longest range like the solid line (k). When a target has a speed, the position of its virtural image is created linearly unless the lens 31 is inserted but if the lens 31 is inserted, the virtual images of all the ranges such as (m), (n) are moved to the position (l) of the virtual image of the shortest range point, thus at the same azimuth point, the advance direction is made the same as the shortest range point despite change in the range length.
