Abstract

PURPOSE: To minimize interruption process so as to detect engine stoppage quickly by classifying programs of an engine control into task groups and renewing the interruption produced in synchronization with the engine into a task corresponding to the minimum starting cycle.
CONSTITUTION: A control program which controls task groups consisting of an initial process program 202, interruption process program 206, macro-process program 228 and task dispatcher 208 is provided in a CPU unit which performs digital control of an engine based upon signals of various sensors. These task groups determine fuel injection and ignition timing etc. The program 202 carries out the preliminary process of a microcomputer, and the program 206 receives various interruptions to start a necessary task. Also, the dispatcher 208 determines the priority of task and supports the control of the engine just before the engine stops.
