Abstract

PURPOSE: To dry and dehydrate the excretions for a short time by a method wherein a dehydrating agent is used which consists of quicklime, silicic acid magnesia lime and calcium carbonate.
CONSTITUTION: Excretion waste is dehydrated and granualated in such a manner that a dehydrating agent obtained by mixing 55W88wt%. powdered quicklime, 5.4W13.6wt% silicic acid magnesia lime and 4W27wt% heavy calcium carbonate is charged into the waste and kneaded and agitated. This method has advantages which the said dehydrating agent is extremely stable to moisture while the agent can quickly be treated by simple facilities.
