CONSTITUTION: When a braking drum is expanded due to braking heat, a regulating lever 20 made of a material such as a form memorizing alloy such as a Ni-Ti alloy reaches the critical point and is returned to an original shape, a plate surface of the regulating lever 20 is curved and engagement between its nose and a ratchet 16a is released. Thus, braking clearance regulating functioning is interrupted, and over-regulation can be prevented.
