Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the resonance of the stator frame of electric rotary machine with the electromagnetic vibration during operation by a method wherein the both end parts of elastically supporting torsion bars of the stator core supporting device are fixed to separators, and the middle parts are supported by a holding ring through transmitting plates. CONSTITUTION:The holding ring 6 is fixed with ribs 2 at plural positions in the axial direction to hold the stator core 1. The transmitting plates 7 are arranged at plural positions on the circumference of the holding ring 6, respective one end part is welded to fix to the holding ring 6 and the other end part is welded to fix to the elastically supporting torsion bar 8. The elastically supporting torsion bar 8 is fixed at the middle part to the transmitting plate 7, and the both end parts are welded to fix to the side faces of the separators 4. Accordingly because the radius directional displacement of the stator core 1 caused by the electromagnetic vibration is converted to the torsional displacement to insulate the vibration, so that even if the natural frequencies of the stator frame 3 and the rings of the separators 4 come near to the frequency of the electromagnetic vibration of the stator core 1, the resonance is not generated.
