Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain a resin composition having excellent calender processability by melting and mixing an ethylene-vinyl acetate graft resin with polyetherester elastomer.
CONSTITUTION: A hundred pts.wt. a polyetherester elastomer composed of 60W 80mol% polybutylene terephthalate as a hard segment and 20W40mol% poly (tetramethyleneoxide) glycol as a soft segment, having a melting point of 80W 200°C and an intrinsic viscosty of 0.5W4, is mixed with 3W50pts.wt. an ethylene- vinyl acetate graft polymer resin obtained by grafting vinyl chloride to an ethylene- vinyl acetate copolymer containing 25W60wt% vinyl acetate.
