Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the power-actor and the balance of electric power for poly phase AC load under simple constitution by forming an electric power adjusting device by voltage-type PWM inverters and AC reactors line connected in parallel. CONSTITUTION:Three-phase power supply line 2 is connected to 3-phase unbalanced boad 1 with low power-factor and at the same time, is connected to pulse- modulation type inverter 6, 7 through a rectifier 4. Those outputs are supplied to the load 1 from the power supply line 2 through are supplied to the load 1 from the power supply line 2 through reactors 8, 9. Then the electric current from inverters 6, 7 and the load 1's electric power and electric current are detected respectively. Inaddition, the signal comparing DC current and the reference value of the rectifier 4 is integrated and then the integrated signal is inputted to control circuits 16-18, controlling each thyrister of inverters 6, 7. Consequently it is possible to perform the action of inverter as electric poer adjusting device and to equilibrate electric power and improve power-factor by compensating for electric power containing high-freuqency compoent.
