Abstract

PURPOSE:To reutilize waste tires of butadiene-based synthetic rubber for producing rubber products by a method wherein particles of such waste tires is mixed with oil, desulfurized, is blended with extender and filler, then vulcanized and molded. CONSTITUTION:Iron ingredient such as bead wire is removed from waste tires of butadien-based synthetic rubber, cut to square blocks, crushed at room temperature, and is classified nearly completely into rubber particles of 1-2mm in diameter and base components such as fiber layer, by use of separator such as centrifugal separator. Oil is mixed to the rubber particles, heated and compressed by a hot press at 200 deg.C, 10-20kg/cm<2>, for 2.5min, and is desulfurized to form sponge cakes. To the sponge cakes, extender such as calcium carbonate, vulcanizing agent, dispersion auxiliary, softening agent, vulcanization accelerator, etc. are added and mixed by use of mixing roll to connect the particles then rolled, vulcanized, and molded.
