Abstract

PURPOSE:To increase the heat exchanging efficiency and reduce production costs by a construction wherein a heating pipe is consturcted horizontally in an outside tube, and a hot water storage tank is installed at a position higher than the pipe, then a channel for a combustion gas is formed in an inverse V shape. CONSTITUTION:Water is filled in a hot water storage tank 15, a heating pipe 14, a convection pipe 16, an outflow hot water connecting pipe 19, a feed header 11, and an outflow hot water header 12 via a feed pipe 17, then they are heated by a burner 21. A combustion gas goes up in a chamber 5 for the ascending combustion gas, hits a baldaquin 3 after it has been rectified by a fin 13, turns its direction, descends through a chamber 6 for the descending combustion gas, heats water in the heating pipe 14, enters an exhaust cylinder 8 through a discharching outlet 7, and goes out of an outlet 25. Heated water flows into the hot water storage tank 15, and water which has not been heated sufficiently flows into the heating pipe. Since the fin is arranged near the baldaquin, the dynamic pressure of the combustion gas is changed into the static pressure after the gas has hit the baldaquin, and the disturbance of gas between the fins accelerates heat exchanging.
