Abstract
PURPOSE: To operate an inverter device stably by a method wherein the DC input voltage of a self-excited inverter and the DC input currents of a separately excited inverter are detected, a commutation overlapping period of the separately excited inverter is arithmetically operated by the detection and the ignition phase of the separately excited inverter is advanced more than the phase of the self-excited inverter.
CONSTITUTION: A voltage type self-excited inverter 10 and a current type separately excited inverter 18 are coupled through a transformer 26 for coupling, and high- frequency output is generated at secondary winding 26c. The input voltage of the self-excited inverter 10 and the input currents of the separately excited inverter 18 are detected by means of detectors 28, 32, supplied to a divider 34, added to voltage 38 corresponding to the turnoff time of a thyristor of the separately excited inverter 18 by means of an adder 36 and added to a firing angle phase shifted 40. Thus, the ignition phase of the separately excited inverter 18 is advanced more than the phase of the self-excited inverter 10 and the commutation of the separately excited inverter 18 can be ensured, and an inverter device can continuously be operated stably.
