Abstract
PURPOSE: To allow a long period continuous filtration operation by applying two- stage treatment using partition filter plate and cylindrical filter body.
CONSTITUTION: Vertical shell body 1 is divided into the upper chamber A and the lower chamber B by plate filter body 8 consisting of filter cloth 10a, 10b and filter cloth support plate 9. The lower chamber has a filtrate-passing rotary pipe 12 that pierces the top lid 3 and sealed by connecting at its lower end to a filtrate-passing hole 9b at the center of the support plate 9. The upper chamber also has a cylindrical body 22 that surrounds the rotary pipe 12 and its holes for passing filtrate. The lower chamber has a raw liquid inlet pipe 29 and contains a hose 17 that discharges filtrate flowing through the rotary pipe 12. At the bottom of the lower chamber, a hose 32 is connected through a backwash valve 30.
