Abstract
PURPOSE: To manufacture amorphous ceramic impalpable powder with excellent sintering properties, which main components are Si, B, C and O, by a method wherein silicon, an improved organic borosiloxane compound, is pyrolyzed at a specified temperature and products obtained are crushed.
CONSTITUTION: An improved organic borosiloxane compound is acquired in such a manner that an organic borosiloxane compound is reacted with not less than one kind among fatty polyvalent alcohol, aromatic alcohol, phenols and an organic carboxylic acid at the temperatures of 250W450°C under an inert atmosphere under the existence of catalysts as necessary. Not less than one kind metal selected among transition metal, actinide metal and lanthanide metal or alloy powder or any not less than one kind of a persulfate, an organic peroxide or a halide of Al, Fe, B, Ga, In is added to the organic borosiloxane compound, and heated at 300W500°C in a non-oxidizing atmosphere, thus acquiring an improved compound. The improved organic borosiloxane compound is pyrolyzed at 700W1500°C and crushed.
